Organization | School Counseling Small Group

In this resource, there are easy-to-implement lesson plans and fun interactive activities to teach students the importance of being organized, prioritizing tasks, and keeping a schedule. This is a 6-week Small-Group Counseling Curriculum designed for students who struggle with executive functions.

A Digital Activity Workbook, for Distance Learning, has been added to this resource! There are also the original pages that go along with the lessons.

How it Works

Meet with students once a week to do their small-group lessons. This can be done for a duration of 6 weeks. During the lessons, you will do a quick backpack/binder/folder check to make sure they are keeping things organized. They will have the option to clean anything they need for each meeting.

Teachers will participate in a fun “Desk Challenge” where the students try to get a game board filled up by keeping their desks neat and clean.
